| Life is like a horse. You either ride it or it rides you. My name is Gwynn. Gwynn Hood of Locksley. I'm the only child of Robin Hood and Maid Marion. Yes, that Robin Hood. The Uncles. He sent me away after the fiasco with Prince John and the Sheriff of Nottingham. He said it was because he wanted me to have opportunities and to learn to act like a proper lady. I don't want to be a proper lady. I pledged my sword and my bow to King Phillip until my last breath. My father thinks that going to this school will teach me things that I can use to better serve my king. Personally? I think he sent me here just to get me away from Phillip. However, things are not as he would expect here and I live in dread of him ever visiting. There are so many things I just wold no be able to explain to him to his satisfaction... ...like Martians blowing up the school at graduation last year; or fairies showing up this year to fight the graduates... and the island moving itself to Greece... and then to France... My father has no cause to worry about Phillip and I as I recently did tell Phillip that I could not, would not, wed with him. One reason was because I know my place... and I know his. The King and the bandit daughter of a outlaw? No, something like that would never be allowed. The second reason is because someone else holds my heart. Conner McKnight. He is noble, handsome and very brave and sweet. He also doesn't seem to have a problem with my very frank way of speaking. Two years ago, the Sheriff of Nottingham showed up in Fandom and attacked me. He planned to kidnap me and take me back to Britain to Prince John. They were going to hang me as a traitor to hurt my father and Phillip. He learned the hard way that my friends here were not willing to allow such a fate to befall me. He and all of his men were defeated and taken back to Britain. It has been three years of triumphs and of sadness as I had to say farewell to good friends, but I am looking to what this next year may bring. Adventure is a very good thing. I am a Hood, after all.
